Good Morning! This post has more photos and information than others and I struggled to make screening as well as collect all transmitted informaficón I wanted, so I come a little late.

If there is something that is characteristic of Provence is lavender. If something you are trying to sell souvenir stalls, other than Marseille soap is ... Lavender. And their fields in full bloom have nothing to envy to any of the world's wonders. What we were looking for was this:

Although the Lonely Planet guide warned us and that was in June / July when more might enjoy these views, reading guides on the internet, we found that from June to September, you might also catch a glimpse ... LIE! Not that we lost precious time searching for them or by moving up there (it depends on the perspective, if we did), because at least with the desire to know if there fores, we were not. But the thing was in "my joy in a well" ... what we found was this one:

Not much remains now for us when we arrived (late September); loose buds here and there ... I left a thorn stuck, but I have a lifetime to return to stop by and see it in all its glory. Which if you can do, I would definitely recommend.

Since this day was fruitless, before going to Avignon, went to enjoy, which is considered one of the most beautiful villages in France.

We begin as always with a brief introduction to this little village:

"The medieval village of Les Baux-de-Provence is perched in the middle of the road through the hills of Les Alpilles, 4 miles from St Remy-de-Provence and Glanum Roman city. On top of the hills, watching abandoned quarries and with an eye on the Mediterranean Sea, is medieval citadel is one of the best known of the door of the Provence tourist destinations. "

If he did, I would have taken the dream ... and with the sleep... no play! hahaha

You could visit the citadel, which is on the top of the village (paying of course), and the audioguide was free ... Who does not enjoy some free history?

XD

Mindful that in my hand in the photo below ... antiblogger am ... instead of coffee .... I give the beer ... jajajajajajaja care is a daily antioxidant eee !! XD

In the same municipality are the Carrieres Lex Baux de Lumieres (Lights races); a multimedia exhibition of artworks by various authors (remain for a certain time, but they change the works and authors) to study rhythm and synchronized music dramatically. Projected on the walls of a gigantic rooms, you can be carried away by its magic, and soak up an impressive art form that we provide the talented authors who have passed through the planet.
We could enjoy the show which runs more than 100 years of Viennese artists, including Gustav Klimt, Schiele, and Hundertwasser.

A must visit for in heart of Provence.

Well, we just have a post over this mini-trip (which was never meant to eight days to give so much lol), where the ancient capital city Papal Avignon and the famous aqueduct Pont Du Gard I will show you.

Regards until next post!

Finally Autumn

Aiii...

Aii ... Fall ... Fall ... and go down the temperatures, the first frost, the time shift (Who came up with that would be a good idea to do it gets dark at 6 pm?) And change of linen closets and the outfits we chose to go outside.
Whether it is heard on the other blogs, the desire to wear the clothes of autumn, if you want to remove coats, etc ... To have, not that I do not feel like changing the colors of the costumes ... but girls: the northern winter has lasted far too long, we were in August without smelling the sun, and if in October, Don Lorenzo, you fancy staying ... BE WELCOME!
But we can always adapt, instead of shirts plaid coat, a year trend continue, which makes us pull wardrobe and use what we have in previous seasons.
About the look, nothing fancy, but just with maxicollar (love at first sight) and hat, and have that not-is-what that is so we like the girls to be pretty and different (and guys too , sorry for the lack of reference hehe).
And you / you ... What usais to simply look different?

For the 7th day break, playing away and the Cote d'Azur (blue coast), but still in the old Provence, climbed acia north, we knew (and looking for) that was The Gorge Verdon River, which rises about 2500 meters altitude in the Alps of Haute Provence, with a length of 172km.

The route to enjoy the gorges is 23km long. We start from Moustiers Sainte-Marie (a town in the area), who advised done by car if we did not have much time, so we carry on 4 wheels, stopping (much) in the areas that we called attention or where you could enjoy the magnificent views from this spot.

SIMPLEMENTE EXPECTACULAR!

Since then, it has been the most enjoyable road we drive, just look for sites that we drove, and the things we were finding us to understand ... SIMPLY SPECTACULAR!

You could make walking routes, bicycle kayak even if I decided to go across the river. We opted for the suit teaching ourselves a little ass in the process and enjoy an unforgettable swim (yes, the water was NOT hot)

(Cómo una niña con juguete nuevo...)

(Like a kid with a new toy ...)

Aiii to memories! Baths in salt and fresh water until next year ... But looking forward to help us continue during the harsh winter Vasco (aka Winterfell) until you come again Summer is over.
I can only recommend if you visit Nice getaway (1h 45 min).
I wish you a Happy Weekend, if you work, that ye be mild; if you libráis: enjoy the warm temperatures we have in October!
A Musu until next post !!

Me enamoraron.

How I already had in the post of Eze, which is only 15 minutes drive from this most cosmopolitan and full of history and charm everywhere city.

How are the photos the same day as the post aterir, though: temperatures dropped quite early evening arrival; so we changed the bottom look to adapt to the new climate.

Nice ... Nice Ai !! If I were to choose, I'd go a good season to live and work in this city. There will be people who do not see anything special ... but its streets, its promenade, the longest pedestrian streets and bike lanes everywhere ... I was in love.
If you have the chance do not fail to visit and know it thoroughly.

So let's learn a little more about her:

"It is known that the region where the city of Nice has been inhabited by humans since 400 000 years ago sits so attested by the archaeological remains found at Terra Amata. Arrowheads, bifaces, animal bones and any human remains . at that time the sea level was higher and the castle hill was an island. it is believed that the prehistoric inhabitants, hunters, settled on a shingle beach, next to a fresh water source.

The city of Nice has a rich history in adventures. Constantly occupied, passes from one sovereignty to another for centuries, Nice is not officially part of France until 14 June 1860, Napoleon III, under the pretext of helping Italy reunification in your company, you would then have managed to negotiate County Nice and county of Savoy to its neighbor. The reasons? Mainly strategic. Nice While no longer at the time his military vocation remains no less strategic territory.
Originally, "Nikaia" meaning "victorious", was a small naval port founded by the Greeks. Recovered by Julius Caesar, Nice has an important role in military strategies. With wars, this "border town" then passed from hand to hand. It even becomes an independent republic in the eleventh century, but not for long. Falling Castillo, in the late eighteenth century, chapter closed military city. This long period of instability, remember names Ségurane Catherine, who would have defended the city during the invasion of the Ottoman fleet in 1543, showing one of her breasts, or even Giuseppe Garibaldi ...
Then it was time for sightseeing with the British aristocrats who gave their name to the "Promenade des Anglais". Attracted by its pleasant Mediterranean climate, installed in their residences Nice winter. Later, they were imitated by the Italians, Russians and Americans. "

Resulta que hay franceses guapos... A NO!
